Using an IP Address to Add Devices
You can add a device to the listing area by specifying its IP address.
On the [Device Operation] menu, put the pointer over [Add to List], and then click [Specify IP Address].
The screen for manually specifying an IP address appears.

This screen also appears when [Specify IP address] in the operation area is clicked.
Enter the IP address or host name of the device to be added.
The maximum number of characters that can be entered in "IP Address or Host Name" is 128 single-byte characters.
Enter the user name and password having administrator privileges for the devices to be added.
Click [OK].
If the system fails to add your device, a message showing the reason for the failure appears.
The valid address is an IPv4 address only. No IPv6 address can be specified.
